Witnessing such individuals reminds me of the remarkable capacity we possess to overcome obstacles, learn from our experiences, and forge ahead on our journeys, regardless of the circumstances.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
My proudest accomplishment lies in successfully spearheading the launch of an innovative AI/ML tool during my tenure at Amazon, which directly impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of customers. This tool has revolutionised the way vendor/vendor manager relationships were managed, significantly enhancing efficiency and productivity in the procurement process. By introducing cutting-edge technology, I facilitated seamless communication between our large language model AI and vendors, enabling them to access critical information and make informed decisions effortlessly. This accomplishment is a testament to my commitment to driving technological advancements that create tangible value for both businesses and individuals.
How did you help your community this year?
Throughout this year, I've dedicated myself to making a meaningful impact on my community through various volunteering and mentoring endeavours. One of the ways I've contributed is by serving as an Amazon mentor, where I've had the privilege to guide and train Amazon employees in the realm of product management. This role has allowed me to share my expertise and insights, helping these professionals enhance their skills and excel in their careers.
Additionally, I've taken on the role of a Product mentor at the University of Washington, where I've been assisting students in building their careers in technology and product management. By providing guidance and support to these budding talents, I aim to empower them to navigate the complexities of the tech industry and find their paths to success.
In the past, I've also run online courses that reached over 1500 students, focusing on emerging technologies, coding, and strategies for building careers in the tech sector. I've fostered an inclusive learning environment through Zoom sessions, enabling individuals to grow their skills from the comfort of their own spaces.
Furthermore, I've extended my contributions to the open-source community, sharing my insights and learnings on GitHub. This commitment was acknowledged when one of my GitHub contributions was chosen for the Arctic GitHub vault, adding to my dedication to providing free, accessible learning resources.
Beyond mentoring and sharing knowledge, I've actively participated as a judge in numerous hackathons, competitions, and events organised by institutions like Columbia University, Ohio State University, and others. By evaluating innovative ideas and projects, I've contributed to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within these academic and professional circles.
In summary, my contributions this year have spanned mentoring, teaching, open-source sharing, and judging, all with the goal of positively impacting my community and helping individuals achieve their goals in the technology and product management sectors.

1,01 ^365 = 37.78 0,99 ^ 365 = 0.03
Compounding efforts matters more than we think.
The power of compounding is a force to be reckoned with, as exemplified by the remarkable results of 1.01^365, which equals an impressive 37.78. This equation beautifully illustrates the principle that consistent, incremental growth can lead to exponential outcomes. Just like a tiny seed, when nurtured with patience and persistence, can grow into a mighty tree, our daily efforts, no matter how small they may seem, accumulate over time to create substantial achievements. This mathematical revelation serves as a powerful reminder that every step we take, no matter how incremental, contributes to our overall progress. It's a testament to the importance of perseverance and consistency, inspiring us to embrace the journey with unwavering determination.
On the flip side, 0.99^365 resulting in 0.03 serves as a stark contrast, highlighting the consequences of neglecting our efforts or allowing negativity to compound over time. It underscores the significance of maintaining a positive and proactive mindset, as well as the need to consistently invest in our goals and aspirations. The profound lesson here is that the choices we make today shape the outcomes of tomorrow. So let us harness the astonishing power of compounding to fuel our aspirations, recognizing that our dedication to incremental growth can truly lead us to extraordinary heights.
What drives you to give back?
I believe in the interconnectedness of society and the positive impact that individuals can have on their communities. Growing up, I was taught the value of compassion, empathy, and helping others in need. Witnessing the challenges that many people face, I feel a strong responsibility to contribute my time, skills, and resources to make a difference.
When I see the positive outcomes of my efforts - the smiles on people's faces, the improved lives, and the sense of unity within the community - it reinforces my belief in the power of collective action. Giving back allows me to be part of something larger than myself, to create a ripple effect of positive change that extends far beyond my immediate sphere of influence.
Moreover, giving back is a way for me to express gratitude for the opportunities I've had in life. I recognize that not everyone has the same advantages, and I want to play a role in levelling the playing field and creating a more just and inclusive society. It's a fulfilling and enriching experience that provides a sense of purpose and a deeper connection to the world around me.
Ultimately, the satisfaction of knowing I've made a positive impact, no matter how small, and the belief that we can collectively build a better future, are what truly drive me to give back to the community.
