In this post, I am writing to encourage you to consider donating to organizations that are working in the field of education. Many of these organizations focus on essential, quality education that prepare children to develop into responsible and successful citizens.

Scholarship America works directly with students, parents, colleges, businesses and communities to help students fulfill their college dreams. Since it was founded in 1958, Scholarship America has distributed $4.3 billion to more than 2.6 million students … and counting.
Pro Literacy, the largest adult literacy and basic education membership organization in the US, believes that a safer, stronger, and more sustainable society starts with an educated adult population. ProLiteracy has been working across the globe to change lives and communities through the power of literacy.

The Posse model works for both students and college campuses and is rooted in the belief that a small, diverse group of talented students—a Posse—carefully selected and trained, can serve as a catalyst for individual and community development.
Save the Children: works in the United States and around the world to reach those children who are missing out most on learning. They help children get ready for kindergarten and learn to read by third grade — a major indicator of future success.
